About Susan Osman

What is your name and who are you?
My name is Susan Osman and I am one of the founders of Rainbow’s End Foundation. I spent twenty five years in the media working as a presenter and reporter for television and radio both regionally, nationally and internationally before being called to do this work

What is your spiritual discipline/background?
My background traditionally is Christian. I was sent to a Catholic boarding school from the age of 11, although I was in fact a Protestant. I also explored many other traditions, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Spiritualism. However, in 2007, despite coming from a family of vicars, my great grandfather was in fact the vicar in the village where I attended school; I was ordained as an interfaith minister. This means I embrace all faiths, beliefs and traditions believing there is one truth and many ways.

What is your vision for Rainbow’s End Foundation?
My vision for Rainbow’s End Foundation is that all people from whatever background or religion will benefit from all that the Foundation has to offer.

What do you bring to the Foundation?
As an ordained interfaith minister, trained spiritual counsellor and healer I hope to be able to give strength and hope to those who may be a little weary on their journey for whatever reason. As one of the facilitators of the Forgiveness Project, a two day free course run by the charity, I hope to teach that to be free, it is necessary to untie the knots of guilt, regret and blame and accept and understand with compassion why you are on this journey and with whom.

Who do you hope will benefit from the Foundation?
It is my hope that all those who feel drawn to the work of Rainbow’s End Foundation will do so in the knowledge that no one, whatever their circumstances, whoever they are, wherever they are, will not be turned away.
