Interfaith Funerals
Can't find the words? We will write a service for you, making it as personal as possible.
When someone we love decides to leave us, planning their funeral can be a very challenging time. It doesn’t matter if their departure is sudden or unexpected or they leave after a long and sustained illness.
Readjusting to the lack of physical presence of the person we love whatever their relationship to us will always be a demanding transition. How often when we need to plan a fitting funeral do we feel restricted by the choices of how we are pay tribute to the one we love? Have you thought of an interfaith funeral? Our funerals are fully tailored to the needs of the family and we will help you make those important decisions such as music, readings and writing an eulogy.
Rainbow’s End Foundation funerals offer a complete bespoke service giving the family complete control of the contents of the service to be conducted by an interfaith minister.
These services are unique, and will reflect and honour your loved one. All ceremonies are written with you and your loved one in mind, to embrace and reflect your emotional needs. You and your family, alongside an Interfaith Minister, who will meet the family and spend some time with you before writing your special ceremony, means you play an active part in creating all that you desire, a special service that will be a fitting tribute.
The beauty of an interfaith funeral is that it can include anything you wish and may be written to reflect the values and beliefs of the person whose life is being celebrated.
Families often tell us the difference that our approach has made, turning a difficult day into one which they look back on as a special celebration.
What is an interfaith minister?
An Interfaith Minister is an ordained, self-employed and non-denominational Minister who has undertaken an intensive training in Ministry and Spiritual Counselling with the Interfaith Seminary. The core belief of the Seminary is “Many Ways, One Truth” this means all interfaith ministers embrace and respect each and every religious tradition having studied all the sacred texts.
